  the story behind it is pretty anticlimactic
  years ago i was designing a portfolio site and was making a frame for a picture out of typography.
  ie: using letters and numerals arranged in different fonts and weights and orientations to make a blocky jagged texture. one portion of this happened to have 734 all visable and i just decided i liked the way they looked together so i built a brand around that.
