i watched field of dreams this weekend.
it's a good flick. it's one of those movies that makes you feel good when you watch it and are happy and hopeful for maybe 30 mins afterward, because it focuses on dreams and magic and things that remove you, if only for a sec, form the mundane and hateful existence of life. however, when that happy feeling ends you get even more pissed off that you have to go back to work on monday and try to sort out a fucking stupid InDesign glitch for marketing and sit between them and a third party developer, and wonder why you should even give 2 shits about it because a) you're not a print designer and b) you're not a programmer, and find yourself longing for something more than going blind staring at computer screen and wish you could infect your own existence with something magical and pure like building a baseball diamond in your yard, for no other logical reason than "just because you wanted to."
