Funny note: All links posted in this thread are to designs not made by Japanese.
There's a lot of ideas what Japanese design is, and specifically; how the graphic design from here looks.
Wether those ideas reflects the actual design here...
- Apart from EVERYTHING in the Narita Inspected book, it was just compiled and laid out by the Swiss.5timuli
- Sure, there's pictures of telephonebooth-ads in there. But the graphics surrounding it...Peter
- Each spread focused on a Japanese agency and their studio/work/observat... The surrounding graphics weren't Japanese but they were never intended to be the focus of the book, hence the reason they were designed to be unobtrusive.5timuli

- I know, I got all their books.
Thing is, it's mostly just full of stuff those guys found here. Even a shot of a cellphone, outdated by the time of print. Ayways...Peter - ...cut.
To put it short: what they are showing is...or actually, never mind. Why am I wasting time explaining this...Peter
