ok, so the process would be to use something like winamp or some other pc equivalent to senuti and copy everything off the ipod to your computer, then erase the ipod via itunes and pair it to your computer, then put all the music you removed back on the ipod via itunes. it will then be restored to it's original music library, but under the control of your own machine
