I have a 3mm band of flat colour running across the top edge of my stationery, I don't know why so don't ask. I just had it all re-printed becuase my fricking accountant moved to a new practice, so I thought I'd try the biggest printer round here: Gemini Press.
Cards came back... great.
Letterheads came back ... Okay. The silver totally dies on the paperstock but whatever, its only my partner who sends out to accounts departments, I never use stationery for anything.
Comp slips came back. On the left hand side, the horizontal bar is 3.2mm deep, and on the right hand side its 0.8mm.
But they sent them anyway, probably hoping I had forgotten to wear my built up shoe that day so I wouldn't notice.
So they went straight back. The print manager called up and apologised and said they'd sort it out.
They did sort it out too... they put them all in a nicer box and sent them back to me with slightly less wrong ones on the top of the pile this time.
Excellent work. I was totally fooled by that.
