  people argue that the cost of the cellular plan from AT&T is the reason why the phone is $199 and the touch, albeit inferior in features, is $100 more.

  It really comes out to
  Ipod touch $299 over 3 years
  iPhone $3000 over 3 years

  or something to the tune of that.
