    Dear Rev,

    i came to notice a curious correlation between intelligence and peace of mind. Numbing the brain, through means of drugs or a 12-hour bukkakethon for example, actually heightens my level of serenity and contentment.

    Given the choice between dignified of conscious misery and utter idiocy, which would be the one to go for, from the spiritual point of view?
