He seemed fine at breakfast, aside from complaints of a mild hangover. He took his customary mid-morning beer into the next room while checking emails. We heard him yelling something about a client, nothing unusual, followed by muffled noises and a crash. When we found him he was having trouble breathing, and my mother drove him to the hospital. He died at 11:45 AM, of a massive coronary thrombosis. We take comfort in the fact that he died doing the things he loved: drinking; bitching about clients, and posting a LOL note on qbn, still devastatingly handsome for a man of his age. He was 78 years old.
