First question: I will paraphrase a Zen koan. At an ancient monastery in China there was once a very bad, lazy, confused student. He was so terrible that one day all the other students went to the temple's master and said "Master, this student is horrible. He does no chores, he is late for all the rituals...either he goes or we all are resolved to leave." The zen master sat back for a moment and then said "I bid you all farewell. Since I am the master it is my duty to stay here with this one lone bad student and teach him until he finally learns. It is only thus that he can attain wisdom. You all are certainly much closer to enlightenment than I thought and no longer need my guidance."

The zen master than excused himself and went to bed. Come morning, no students left.

    Second question:
In the end I'm guessing it's more important that we simply talk with someone.

Are we all god? If you had the answer to that would it really change anything?

And the best god to pray to? The one that listens to you.

    • you just enjoy giving it to him, donĀ“t ya? :)
