like the work showcased... but the showcase itself turns me off.
too many colors... patterns (see above)...
... thin out the fluff on the home page - get rid of the 'slick' looking bar that houses the navigation (make a solid color or less 'slick')... just feels like there are too many style elements fighting each other.
... there's just lots of pieces of 'whatever' all over the place... like the starburst logo thing above each image in the white recatangle... objects like that in repetition tend to distract attention from the thumbs... let those thumbs breathe!
this is all my opinion... feel free to ignore it. :)
