  this is the kind of movie that requires certain maturity and state of mind to enjoy. i'm pretty sure i would hate it as a kid the very same way i hated films by Godard and Fellini, but likewise watching the original Star Wars nowdays annoys the shit out of me. We change as people over time and thus we have different likes. At this moment in my like i though the film was spectacular -- even the average cinematography ("lazy" and "crappy" at times) adds to the over all vibe.
