I want to know why he's got such a large array of hard disks there - I don't really understand how that works - putting voltages in the wrong way to get the pickup thing to scratch noise out of the disks - but from the other times I've seen it employed on'tinternet, I've only ever seen Them use one disk?
Suffice to say, I think it's terribly clever and it fuses everything I hold dear in the world - Radiohead, haunting maudlin music, archaic technology and too much time on the (slovenly student) creator's hands.
This kind of thing easily touches in to cool, but could just as easily veer into cat herding madness, as evidenced by this lady, who was featured in the link I posted...
