drilling in ANWR might help but even if it did, we wouldn't notice any effect for years to come.
And by that time, the demand for oil would be so much higher, the effect of ANWRs oil would be noticeable by US consumers.
The real benefit would go to oil companies, who really need the help right now. Those cats are hurtin BIG time.
