I've read that blog post before. It's actually too true!
Theres one thing that i cant stand and thats all those sort of DJ's.
One of my hates is going into a bar and being assaulted by the same beat or type of music all night. Fair enough in a nightclub where you are going to listen to a certain type of music normally, but when playing a bar you should chop and change a bit to play to everyones tastes.
I play such an eclectic mix of stuff i dont really have a style i play, just anything and everything, then whatever works to get people off their asses to dance, i'll stick with that.
Hence why i like djing with cd's so much these days as it means you can take along a huge collection easily. laptops = even better!
