I'm growing increasingly convinced that "hedge" is in fact a scriptwriter at Lucas Arts. It certainly explains his delusions of grandeur, unconnectedness to reality and and odd navigation of social norms.
He's probably a bit bitter too because Lucas is stifling his creativity, forcing him to write anything to do with aliens and spacecraft all the time. I mean just today he posted in a note "my young democrats". Sounds like some square dialogue Lucas probably wanted him to write for the Emperor in the new Star Wars cartoons. You know, probably something about jedis and the new republic being democrats or something.
So I think hedge leans back in his chair and dreams of being rich, like George, and what he's do with that money. He fantasizes about being some sort of rakish right-wing sith/Donald Trump mix.
But he can't seem to get the social part down to do it in the bar around the corner from his apartment, so he just comes on QBN and bugs us. He probably found out about QBN while furiously tracking down a new job at Krop. Anything to get away form that damn Lucas.
Well, it's my theory at the moment.
