akrok, it varies from sensor to sensor.
Most of the time you just need to calibrate it one time and your done. Mine was just simply a bit problematic.
If you wanna get an accurate calibration, try running now! so that when you finally get the sensor and do the first calibration, your run is close to what your average will be. If you don't exercise and run now, when you try the calibration you'll be too slow and tired and won't have a sense of your comfortable speed.
Also remember to place your sensor as flat as possible.And btw, it is normal to be recalibrating the sensor. You should do recalibrate it when you lose weight, or if there are drastic changes in the weather and expect it to remaind that way for several weeks, etc...
