take it from someone with lots o knee problems, if you plan on doing a lot of running i would go to a place that can analyze your footstrike and give you the proper shoe, heel/toe/flat strike, roll in/out, etc.. not all shoes are created equal.

I've been a hardcore athlete most of my life and I'm fine.VectorMasked - osgood schlatters and 15 years of ski racing. even if you're fine now, it may catch up to you. it's certainly not a bad idea anyway.acescence
