  Am I the only one made slightly uncomfortable by the mention of 'thousand year rivalry', followed very shortly thereafter by an image of the Germany squad? At best, isn't that a bit of a new world pretense? You mention a term like that, and I immediately think of feudal systems and gipsy beatings.
