Some friends a year or two younger than i created the biggest gravity bong i've seen to date for their graduation party. They filled a large garbage can with water, cut a water-cooler bottle in half and used aluminum foil with holes poked in it for the screen. It was somewhat worthless, completely wasteful (no one was able to take the whole filled chamber), but fun to see.
Same party also saw a smoking device made out of a watermelon.
