I think that this would be a safe laptop to buy for quite sometime. I mean 17 inches is big enough. . . WOuld you want to haul around anything bigger.
The only thing they can do is come out with speed bumps, but this thing is fast. And it will probably be another 2-3 years before a major powerbook release. Get it now if you can, savor it, save your cash again, and then buy the next one in a few years. . .
