short story- had some drama tonight and am super pissed, wont be sleeping anytime soon
long story- read below (warning: drama you could probably care less about will ensue, but i really just typed it out for posterity) CAUSE I'M PISSED!!
gah-
about 10pm or so, i am in my home office knocking out emails when i hear this loud thump! a dog yelp and then people yelling and more dog yelping..
im like wtf but ok..then the neighborhood dogs barking, then the main dog yelping and more people yelling..
my backyard backs up to a 4 lane road so i scale my back fence to see what up, cause i think there is an accident.
i see a truck load of fucktards in a suv yelling and kicking the dog they just ran over because it knocked the bumber off their ride.
they see me yell at them and get in and haul ass. couldnt get their plate #. grr! so the dog is laying there, tries to get up and cant.. i go over and check it- a beautiful yellow lab who cant move its rear end, bleeding full of road rash.there was a couple walking who saw it all go down. they come by and check on it as well. so i tell them to wait with the pooch while i go get the truck cause there is an emergency vet on 183. we load the dog up and off i go.. only to find out the vet is closed.. so i call the emergency # on the door. the lady says if i bring it in to the 'real emergency clinic' i would be responsible for the $$.. but that i should call the cops and animal rescue will come and pick it up and take care of it-
so i do that.
turns out animal services is some lady on call in north irving who was in bed and doesnt want to drive all the way down to s irving where i live and asks if can i meet her at her shelter.. in n irving.. (FUCK IRVING BTW!!) so i do.
drive across town and then sit in the shelter parking lot with this injured pooch who is bleeding all over my back seat for 45 minutes til she shows up.we get the dog in the clinic and she says the dog will be ok- has a lot of road rash and will get x-rays. but may have a chip and will notify the owners in the am. to which i say, if it doesnt and you cant, i'll take it.. cause seriously- it was a beautiful pooch. but anyway, so the dog is in the care of that person and i go out to my truck and it looks like a frikkin crime scene.. so i spent the last half hour scrubbing the back seat with club soda and peroxide.
needless to say i am exhausted and am gonna have a drink or 3- but more than anything i am sooo effing pissed! i cant believe there are people out there like that
g'dammit- i want to destroy their faces. ahhhhhhhhhhhh~!- Do they have traffic cameras on that road? You could probably report it and they'd find the plate #sismith
