no no you doesn't sounds old. I understand what are you saying.
I just sayed that i think the better dj's ( in a skill way) are the dj's who practice the scratch, and normally... they are hip hop dj's.
But its different.
One thing is the electronic music (a party music, to stay hours and hours dancing) sometimes with the help of alternate medicine, and another thing is a scratch session.;)
