There are a ton of design agencies around town. When I first moved here 7 years ago i carried my portfolio and just started knocking on doors. I would recommend that you compile a list of firms and locations then just start making calls to show your work. Off the top of my head, here is a list of cool agencies:
thinkfeelwork.com - Morris Creative
tylerblik.com - blikGo to creaativehotlist.com and type in the zip code 92101 for jobs downtown as well.
