  Second bullet not possible tasty. In one of the recent Jack/Kate centric flash-forwards, Kate admitted to helping Sawyer. Now, if that meant on the island, who knows. It's hard to tell how far forward these flash-forwards are sometimes.

  but, now that I think about it, Aaron was at least 4 or 5 years old. It was definately a few years beyond when they were rescued, kate's trial, etc.
