HD on my MBP completly fucked out cos the bag it was in fell, took it to data recovery centre that quoted me 2000€+, then i took it back to my mac dude, who worked some shit and 60 mins later i had all my stuff back except a couple of folders... but if he hadn't been able, i would coughed up the money no questions asked, don't know about you, but if i lost my stuff, my life would practically stop. if you have to get data recovery, its worth it...
