My mom says the EXACT same thing. Combined with how she thinks I should know every single word and its definition, just because of what I took in university. In fact, she gets pretty irritated with me when I tell her to look it up at Dictionary.com. The good thing is that I basically forced her to look it up on her own, and she's been doing that lately. Sadly, she still doesn't believe in the magic of Thesaurus.com. She does ask me how I do everything after I fix her issues (like getting rid of the automatic corrections in Word and when it doesn't allow you to hit "backspace" without selecting the entire word first and hitting "delete"), so I know she wants to learn. But she's impatient and, while I'm patient, I suck at explaining things.
