Feel free to pelt me with rotten fruit and a full range of swear words in many languages, but as someone who has been a designer/coder/video/3d/animatio... type guy for 7/8 years, I have always had PC, hated win 98, upped to XP a long long time ago, and seriously I don't have any complaints. My system never crashes, I can just plug my equipment - such as it is, straight in, and never have any problems...I never shout at my machine anymore for being slow (other than knowing I should always have more ram) - to be honest I've used XP for so long that - and I believe this is the aim of all operating systems - I just don't notice it at all....
What benefits could I seriously expect from using OSX, which I hear everybody rave about, but have never been brave enough to just ask 'why ?'. So, Ms Jaline, and many others - why should I switch if, maybe I've got 2k coming up for an equipment spending spree ?

    • expose alone is worth itdoesnotexist
    • i prefer mac but if you are happy with xp... i wouldn't switch. neither is better... it is a preference thing...cramdesign
    • yea its a preference thing for sure, i love the way os x works, i'm used to and i'm happy with it. each to thier own thoughavolve
