    Why does anything exist ? Can only be asked from within existence. Any meaningful answer, assuming that there CAN be a meaningful answer must refer to something outside of existence, and being existent, we cannot understand what that is.
    Because it isn't.
    Anything you postulate outside of existence - doesn't exist.
    Even if you give it a name and write angry stuff about it, thousands of years ago, or create vile cartoons of it today.

    You cannot answer those huge questions, teleos - just creating an answer where there isn't one, or even space for one just doen't cut it.
    Questions such as that simply illustrate the theoretical and practical edge of how useful polar dualistic concepts of language are. There are no answers to these questions, the edge of the knowable universe stops with an = sign and a question mark. It's an illusion.
