you'll miss the excellent jan fabre exhibition in the louvre by one week
i stayed at these hotels the last two times I was in paris

http://www.hotelgrandsbalcons.co… (small rooms, but only two mins from the jardins des luxembourg)someone recommended the zadkine museum, haven't been there yet, but is supposed to be really nice.
