  Yes my lack of knowledge when it comes to structural weight and shearing will certainly be a worry.

  I am not too keen on a solid back as it will go against a bare brick wall which I would like people to see.

  I may have to make a smaller one first to experiment.

  Will certainly post pics when I am done.
