There's no better way to judge a person than when they're wearing the stock ear buds that come with an ipod.
I'm sorry, but if you're wearing those and never upgraded, you don't care about how music sounds at all.
and I mean this kind:

- you can also play Master AIFF tracks on an ipod, and that means you care more than if listening to a cd..Meeklo
- or loss-less aac is better than mp3 and a bit smaller than aifacescence
