  keep file sharing on

  make sure you click 'options' and check the box next to 'share files and folders using SMB'

  and be sure to have your users enabled for each folder you are allowing access

  its just better security measures now with Leopard

  • it has been reported that having file sharing ON on the mac blocks connection to win shares, which is why i suggested thisacescence
