futurama lacks the upcoming genious writers. the simpsons had conan o'brien and company writing some amazing material. futurama had everything else but the foundation and glue holding everything together. seems like they focused so much time on the 3d animation and fancy tricks. but it still was a good show, dvds are worth buying. i have a feeling groening is gonna take another stab at an animated sitcom.
