    Ninja, I disagree with you about the Portishead album - think it's terrific but it takes a few listens. I do think it shows a maturity and development of their sound. I think I mentioned before but I find Dummy hard to take now. It was played to death when it first came out (by me and the rest of the world) and when I hear a song from it now I just switch off. I love the krautrock direction and think that its willfully obscure direction is what's putting people off. It doesn't sound like Dummy part 3 because they're all older and have moved on.     In terms of recent comebacks, The Breeders album is quite good and Frank Blacks Svn Fingers is the best thing he's done since the Pixies as far as I'm concerned.
