  One HUGE thing to consider is that streaming will cost you. Not many places will do that, unless you are large or care to control the distribution (the cache) of the media.
  Another choice would be to use flash. It doesn't truly stream, but it works better and you can control how much is played versus how much is downloaded.

  I am just beginning the flash video stuff. Looks very promising.
