Apparently I forgot to put the sticker on my license plate to show that my car was registered... since June 2006.
The cop had a good laugh about it, and how I haven't gotten pulled over in almost two years. I told him I probably got the envelope it's just that I never remembered.
He said he would have given me a warning except that it's so egregious that he can't do anything if it's over 2 or 3 months, and this was over by like 20. He bumped it up on his report to 06/07 so it wouldn't look so bad and told me to plead Not Guilty and say I lost it in the mail, but beforehand make sure I put the sticker over-top of the 06 one.
I mean my car is registered, I have insurance, it's inspected through June ... I don't really see why I have to go through all this shit because of a fucking sticker.
Argh.
Now I have to ask around on where to get a damn sticker from.
