Right, if that is the cover art for Coldplay's new album I am going to vomit.
Why the fuck do these modern pop nambypambies think they can resolve the issue of them being irritating softspined chinless public school boy flumps by "bolting on" a punkish credential to the Marketing and PR?
DO THEY THINK WE'RE FUCKING STUPID?
DO. THEY. THINK. WE. ARE. FUCKING. STUPID?
Its like that little hedgehog who does the choirboy parts in Keane "Suddenly being put in a recuperation centre for three minutes because of his hardcore grubby drugs problem what he has, cuz honestly, I know he looks like a pre-pubescent middle class stunted Keith Chegwin clone.... but really he's absolutely flipping hard as nails actually you know and wrestles with some really gritty street style issues man" ... in the week leading up to their second album of "Magic Roundabout" music being released.
So now Coldplay are grabbing a little bit of The French Revolution "Yeah, People Power man, Street Level Dissent, Anarchy" and borrowing a bit of The Pogue's romance (Rum Sodomy and The Lash) and putting a bit of white paint on it "like it was daubed there, in protest and like, possibly with anarchic irreverence for the classicism of the oil paiting behind it... like a sort of... a Banksy sort of thing, you know?'
Well it doesn't hide who you are and what you do so...
FUCK OFF.
- This should be the official review for the album. and lol @ the keith chegwin reference!ian
