no prob. i like emacs. but, pico is best if all i need to do is edit dns zone files or conf files on the server fast.

i still use pine for email on my linux notebook...it makes life easier and faster.
i like gui, but there's no need for it if you're editing code, text or conf's....this is why i say if you are a developer or web designer (html, css, etc) then you should know how to edit your stuff by hand.
it takes me like 2 seconds to make a change via shell on a server....rather than waiting for an app like dreamweaver or quanta to load, then ftp the file, bla bla bla bla...
