    I think there has been an alternative for oil fueled transportation for many decades, but a lot of people with "making decision power" will loose a lot of money. So just now they are starting to change that. (at least to consumer level). When the consumer is starting to look more into MGP rather than if a car will park itself or if has GPS navigation.
