... Hrm, that seems more philosophical now doesn't it.
I call girls dudes and man all the time. It really takes some of my friends aback when I'm on the phone and like, "What's up dude." or "What's up man." only to find out later it was not a dude or a man, haha.
Only on the internet does the intended recipient ever says anything though. Well ... actually ... sometimes it's also sarcastic to get back, "Nothing much girl." or "The sky dudette."
