My pal (who went on to join the army and has completed 2 tours each in Iraq and Afghanistan) was once a security guard at a cash and carry in the south side of glasgow. One day he noticed, through the CCTV, two neds hanging about the car park trying car doors, so he headed out to scare them off. As he reached the car park they had managed to get into a car and were hot wiring it so he ran up to chase them off, as he got to the car they started it, he grabbed onto the door and was dragged along the car park as they attempted to make their escape. They got out the car and bolted when he wouldn't let go, leaving one unstolen car, two right shitted up neds and one badly scraped and bruised security guard.

He taped the CCTV footage so we could watch the incident at home. Legend. Hardest man I have ever met.

He was home the other week showing us the video of the front line in Afghanistan he taped with the camera they all have in their helmets. Flip flops, boxer shorts, body armour and artillery strikes. Awesome in a scary way.
