I'd recommend Washington Heights and Inwood. Up around 180th street, still affordable.
Or Queens.- def Queens or The Bronx for cheap if you want to be off the island. Williamsburg is dead to me.DoubleKing
- I am interested in queens. Wouldn't mind brooklyn, but it seems everyone and their mother is moving there now
