    Best 3 books for learning Actionscript 3.0:

    Learning ActionScript 3.0: A Beginner's Guide
    Essential ActionScript 3.0
    ActionScript 3.0 Design Patterns: Object Oriented Programming Techniques

    The first one should get you a long way. Even though it says beginner's guide, it actually gets pretty advanced.

    BTW, Flash 9 (CS3) has been out for a while...

    • Flash9 has been out for a while, but I don't do enough flash work (or need the new features) to justify the upgrade.Mojo
    • Although, if I'm gonna learn AS, it may as well be AS3!Mojo
    • Ya, I think AS3 is much easier to learn too, because the syntax is simpler and more consistant than in AS2.Milan
