Remember when you were a kid and everyone in the family relied on you to 'work' the VCR? Do you remember how it was left to you, then 7 year old, to take responsibility for the then high tech piece of kit?
That's right - as soon as the thing was out of the box, you'd be sat there pressing the buttons, dicking around with the machine - no care in the world as to whether you'd break it or not, because - of course - the designers made it so you couldn't really break the damn thing.
