Haha.. sure I did enjoy Sardinia! We only stayed in Alghero, but rented bicycles to go to Capo Caccia. It was 24 kilometers one way on rental bikes without any preparation whatsoever. Capo Caccia is something like 170m above sea level and the road went up and downhill a few times before finally going all the way up at the end. Too bad the Neptune Caves were closed, but it was ok, adding 600 stairs to the bicycle ride wasn't something we looked for at the time :)

Fariska, I wish I had contacted you more about Sardinia in the last weeks, but I was so busy recently I only booked the accomodation the day before going there.
We need to go back when water temperature is swimmable and see more of the island, hopefully I'll have a PADI license by then (or could go there to get it).
For now we still have the memories, the photos, well over a kilogram of cheese, some wine, a slight sunburn and proper pain in the ass from the bikes' cheap seats (ouch)!
