it would be brilliant if he woke up next to patrick swayze who told him he was in a coma and had suffered a concussion from the free fall skydive off the plane, followed shortly by gary busey showing up along with his trusty bullet-proof vest that saved him from the gunfire... they would all call up lori petty and surf happily ever after.
of course, neo would later go on to join a band called Wyld Stallions which would lead to him and his bandmate meeting George Carlin who would inform the duo that in order to save the world they'd have to do good on their history exam.... he would also remind them that Ceasar is not the salad dressing dude...
i'd have to see that ending twice!
