You know, I loved Chip Kidd until I actually saw him do a talk on his work a couple weeks ago!
Bitter little backstabber, actually. He kept showing designs he did, which didn't get used, and blaming it on the specific authors. He struck several very, very low blows. Nasty little bitch, in the tradition of old interior decorators and hairdressers.
After seeing him, I certainly wouldn't want him to design my book. And I won't buy any of his products, either.
