If you really care about playing online, 360 is the way to go.
Best thing in life would be to have both, because there are good exclusives (MGS4, God of War 3 on the PS3 to name just two, Gears of War 1&2, Halo 3, Ninja Gaiden 2 on the 360 to name a few)
