Shari, we had an extended slow period around a year and a half ago. I woke up in the middle of the night and the idea came to me that I would treat every design job, no matter how humble, as a gift--an opportunity to create something new. From the next day the phone began to ring more often; we got more work, became busy, and now I'm back to being the same ungrateful motherfucker I was before. I need to relearn that lesson.
