Not to be misunderstood, I appreciate the enthusiasm, interest and genuine need for sustainable design, products, energy and changes to everyones lifestyles. I just get ticked off when people like Al Gore wins a nobel peace prize for his life work regarding the environment, energy consumption and sustainability when he owns a McMansion in Tennesse that consumes enough electricity to power a small city... His monthly electric bills where running about $3,500- a month, that is with his solar panels and small wind turbines. I find this outrageous when he is preaching to the world about saving the environment and conserving our energy resources.

I have to at least give Al Gore credit for getting the message out with a non-partisan dialog and position, creating global awareness and building our eco-consciences.

If anyone out there is really and genuinely concerned about saving our planet, please stop consuming so much stuff, it is that simple.

    Speaking of Stuff!

    • that wicked, when many eco friendly buildings end up with much lower cost then before.akrokdesign
